Day 2: Inshore Fishing
It’s finally time to cast a line! Just make sure to have a saltwater fishing license before heading out. Take a fishing charter out on the pretty North Carolina waters for a chance to come across a variety of Atlantic Ocean fish. Some you can expect are the speckled trout, redfish, flounder, Spanish mackerel, bluefish, and tarpon.
After you’ve enjoyed a day on the calm Outer Banks waters near the shore, come back to your vacation rental for a home–cooked meal! There’s no more rewarding feeling than cooking the big catch of the day! Then, relax and unwind so you’re refreshed for another adventurous day of fishing ahead.
Day 3: Off-Shore Fishing
The OBX is known for its incredible offshore fishing so it’s a must for any angler. Get the crew together on a charter fishing boat and set to sea. Make sure to pack some snacks, drinks, and sunscreen for a full day of fun. Once you get offshore, prepare to get tugs from some pretty enormous fish. Some fish you might come across are tuna, mahi, or billfish.

Day 4 is the perfect day for a little rest and relaxation. After going on fishing adventures for the past couple of days, you might want to have some chill time on the boat or at the beach.
