Sound Escape is a beautiful soundfront retreat with upgraded amenities and furnishings. [Note: No dogs or other animals allowed in this home.]

ENTRY LEVEL:
The large Great Room has spectacular views of the Currituck Sound and comfortable seating in the living area with hardwood floors. Two bar islands have seating for 6 guests and the dining table seats 10. The breakfast nook seats 5 and there is a half bath on this level. The kitchen has granite countertops, microwave, wine cooler, gas cooktop and a double wall oven. Two extra full-size refrigerators are available, one in the garage and the other in the laundry room. One King Master Suite is on this level with sound views and a private sitting area. [Note: gas fireplace is not available for guest use.]
TOP LEVEL:
There are 2 King Master Suites with private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. A Queen bedroom has a shared bathroom (shower/tub combo) with another bedroom furnished with two Bunk Bed sets. Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV and an elevator connects all levels of this home which can also be accessed through the garage on the ground level. The media/theater room will be the one of the highlights of the family to enjoy a favorite movie or game.
EXTRAS:
The pool deck offers a view of the Currituck Sound and beautiful sunsets are almost guaranteed. Enjoy the private pool (12' x 23'), hot tub as well as using the gas grill. [Note: the fire pit is not available as it is prohibited by The Currituck Club covenants]. There is parking for 4-5 vehicles in the driveway. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Review
This is our 3rd stay at Sound Escape and we were very pleased to see the updates on both exterior and interior painting. It appeared the front porch had recently been power washed as did the exterior of the house. New seating around the pool area is nice. While the interior of the pool tiles need further replacement, the pool itself was very clean and quite clear. The weather the entire week was perfect. As such, we had a great time and will certainly keep Sound Escape as one of our "go to" choices in the future. Thanks.

Everything with the house was great, just wish the weather had been better. If you were in charge of the weather, I know it would have been a perfect week! Just meant we ate out more and all the local places were very good. Please pass on to the owners a big thank you for the anniversary basket they had delivered to us. It was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated.

Spacious Home in a Great Location
There were 10 of us and the house was very spacious and comfortable. The theater room sat 10 so we all had a comfortable recliner to watch movies from. The house is right on the Sound so the mornings and sunset are amazingly beautiful.

Most Amazing Sunset Views
This is the perfect house for entertaining. Pool overlooking some of the most beautiful views in OBX. Amazing open kitchen, backyard ping pong table and sitting area. We will definitely be back!
