Best Outer Banks Farmer’s Markets to Visit

C & J Produce

C & J Produce is one of the Outer Banks’ most beloved Farmer’s Markets. This market has been serving the Outer Banks community for over 20 years and is known for its friendly atmosphere and high-quality produce. C & J Produce is open year-round, so you can always find fresh produce no matter when you visit the Outer Banks. 

Dowdy Park

Dowdy Park is home to the Outer Banks’ largest Farmer’s Market. This market features over 50 vendors selling a wide variety of produce, local arts and crafts, and prepared food. The Dowdy Park Farmer’s Market is open every Thursday from June through August, and every Saturday from November through December. 

Green Acres Farm Market

Green Acres Farm Market is a newer Outer Banks Farmer’s Market, but it’s already become a community favorite. This market is known for its beautiful setting – it’s located on a working farm with scenic views of the Outer Banks’ farmland. Green Acres Farm Market is open every day from June through August. 

Manteo Farmer’s Market

Manteo Farmer’s Market is one of the Outer Banks’ most popular Farmer’s Markets. This market is located in the heart of downtown Manteo and features a wide variety of local produce, prepared foods, and handmade crafts. Manteo Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from mid-May through early-Fall. 

Seaside Farm Market

Seaside Farm Market is a unique Outer Banks Farmer’s Market that specializes in seafood. This market is located on a working seafood farm and features fresh seafood straight from the farm. 

Secotan Market

Secotan Market is an Outer Banks Farmer’s Market with a focus on sustainable and organic produce. This market is located in the historic downtown district of Wanchese and features vendors selling locally grown produce, prepared foods, and handmade crafts. Secotan Market is open throughout the year. 

Tarheel Too
