Embark on an unforgettable family adventure with a two hour wild horse tour. The tour will begin by taking you past the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. You will be given an overview of each site and are encouraged to return at your leisure. At that point, you will drive on the beautiful north beaches for two hours and see breathtaking sights. You will be taken to Lewark’s Hill, also known as Pennies Hill, and then to Corova, where the majority of the Corolla Wild Horses reside. There are several small herds and at this time there are nearly 100 freely roaming the area. All tours are given in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle. 98 NC Highway 12 in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, 8 miles south of Whalebone Junction at the north end of the Oregon Inlet Bridge in the beautiful Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Behind the Center is a free to the public boat launch facility with ample parking for cars and trailers.
