Villages at Ocean Hill Beach Accesses
According to Corolla Beach Rescue, a lifeguard stand is located in Ocean Hill during the summer months.
If your family has rented Salty Bones or Inn-Seaclusion: the closest beach access is by Sharkey’s Snack Bar located at Headwind Way and Sandcastle Drive. The oceanfront pool is also at the same location. Be sure to use the parking pass (inside the VOH Packet which is included in the Starter Kit tote on the kitchen counter) to use this parking lot. Guests cannot park in VOH parking areas before their 4:00 PM check-in time.
If your family has rented Latitude Adjustment, there are 2 ways to reach the beach:
- There is a VOH parking lot at 1271 Windance Lane and then a short walk of approximately 250 feet east to the Tasman Drive Beach Access. Be sure to use the parking pass (inside the VOH Packet which is included in the Starter Kit tote on the kitchen counter) to use this parking lot.
- If preferred, you can walk from the home’s driveway to the right going towards the end of the Windance Lane cul-de-sac (about 300 feet). There is a marked path to crossover to Bismark Drive to walk east to the beach access which is approximately 1400 feet away.
Exclusive for VOH rental guests: reserve your beach items (chairs, umbrellas) in advance of your vacation and pick your spot on the beach to have your items set-up and waiting for you each day.
