Taproom's Landing is located in the oceanside neighborhood of Buck Island which has a large community pool, tennis courts, a playground for children and has easy beach access for guests. [Note: No dogs or other animals allowed at this home.]
New for 2024 Season: Flooring replaced throughout the home; new refrigerator, new barstools.
Beds: 3 Kings (2 Masters), 1 Queen Master, 1 Pyramid Bunk with Trundle; 12 Towel Sets provided
TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has a large flat-screen TV and lots of space to relax in the Living area with access to the oceanside Sun Deck. The Dining table seats 8 with 2 extra chairs available. The Bar Counter seats 2. The Kitchen has plenty of counter space for preparing family meals. The screened porch has a picnic table to enjoy outdoor dining. The King Master Suite has a flat-screen TV and the Master Bath features a jetted tub and separate shower; this bedroom has deck access. There is a Half Bath near the Kitchen. (Note: gas fireplace shown is not for guest use.)
MID LEVEL:
There are 3 bedrooms on this floor: a Queen Master Suite has deck access and there is a shower/tub combo in its Master Bath. The King Bedroom and the Pyramid Bunk Bedroom (has deck access) share a Hall Bath with a shower/tub combo. The Hot Tub is located on the mid level deck.
GROUND LEVEL:
A King Master Suite is on this level; its Master Bath has a stand-up shower. Outside, there is an outdoor shower to shower off after the beach or before using the hot tub.
EXTRAS:
Located in the gated Buck Island neighborhood, the community pool, tennis courts and children's playground are located 300 feet away from this home. The private neighborhood beach access is 1640 feet away; the Clubhouse has a parking lot to make it easier to bring your beach gear to the beach. There is a lifeguard stand at this beach access from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There is parking for 3-4 vehicles. Guests are not allowed to rent or use golf carts in this community.

I travelled with a party of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) family members. We had a great time. The house was accurately described and perfect for a family with young children. The proximity to shops and the pool/playground was great. We always found parking for our car at the beach lot and chose to drive our gear down. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was our first vacation with our grown daughters and spouses and grandchildren. The house was perfect. The location of the playground, pool, pickleball courts and beach worked out great for us. Would definitely come back!

We could not have asked for a better location. Close to shops and the beach. Plenty of room for the entire family. We enjoyed meals together each day, game nights, and even a little Wii competition.

We enjoyed our stay at Taproom's Landing.
The house fit the needs of our group. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of room to relax. The cleaning crew was still cleaning when we arrived after 4:30, and it was apparent that it was a rushed job. We rented a golf cart and we were very glad we did. Although the house is within walking distance to the beach, it was really nice to have the golf cart for quick transportation for all of our beach gear. The large community pool was often empty and very clean. On our last evening we ate our take-out pizza at the pool. We would rent this house again if we have the same size group as this year.

It was a great house for 6 adults and three children, 8 yrs., 5 yrs., and 2 yrs. It was a bit of a hike to the beach, but loading up the car and unloading at the beach access was fine. Parking was available at the beach. Thanks for a good week!!
