If your family would like to be near the sea, then an Octopus's Garden offers both shaded decks and plenty of sunshine around the private pool to enjoy a beach vacation! [Note: no dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

MID LEVEL:
The traditional floor plan offers the main living space with a vaulted ceiling above the Great Room to give an open and airy feeling. The Living area has a large flat-screen TV (gas fireplace not for guest use) and a Dining table that seats 8. The fully stocked kitchen offers a kitchen island that will seat 4 more guests. Access to the back covered deck overlooks the pool area below and has more furniture to sit and relax outside in the shade. A Queen Jr. Master Suite has a semi-private bath and access to a private deck that faces the front of the house. The laundry area is located by the back deck door.
TOP LEVEL:
Stairs to the top level will lead to a small sitting area and access to the Sun Deck outside. There are 3 other bedrooms on this floor: a Queen Jr. Master Suite has semi-private bath (shower/tub combo) that is shared with a bedroom that has 2 Bunk Bunk Sets . There is also a Queen Master Suite has a shower/jetted tub combo in its Master bath.
GROUND LEVEL:
Besides the Pool Table, the Game area has a kitchenette with a microwave, mini-fridge and a small table to sit and enjoy snacks and beverages. There is a full hall bathroom and the couch is a sleep sofa (Queen) if extra sleeping arrangements are needed. Outside the sliding doors is the hot tub and the large private pool (14' x 28') which offers plenty of room for sunbathing or using a pool float to cool-off in the water while still "catching some rays." There is a park-style charcoal grill available. The beach access for this Ocean Sands area is 1550 feet away and for tennis fans, there are free community tennis courts.

Property was exactly as advertised. It fit the 8 of us perfectly. The pool area was such fun, with our beach carts the walk to the beach wasn’t bad. Next time we book in OBX we will rent Octopus Garden.

I have wanted to come to the outer banks for years! This year our family was able to all be together! Everyone loved the house and all that the area had to offer! It was close to the beach, stores, food, and recreational activities! We would be thrilled to come back again.!

The house was perfect for our annual "Cousins Camp." Pool, Jacuzzi, pool table & board games kept the kids busy ranging from 10-17 years old. It was walking distance to 2 shopping areas, 1.1 mile to Harris Teeter & 1.3 to Food Lion. Within driving distance to Light houses & the Wright Brothers Memorial.

We enjoyed our stay at Octopus's Garden. The layout of the house worked well for our group (5 adults, 1 child). The beds were very comfortable., the house was very clean, and the kitchen was stocked with adequate tableware and cookware. We enjoyed an easy walk to the beach, even with a 1-year-old in tow. This property was very nice and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Octopus's Garden! The pool was a huge hit after a day at the beach, especially for the small children in the group. We would book this home again in a heart beat.
