A Beach Attitude will be all your family will need to have a fantastic Outer Banks vacation! It is dog-friendly for up to 2 pets and it is approximately 1100 feet to the Herring Street beach access in the Whalehead Beach neighborhood.
Beds: 1 King Master, 4 Queens (2 Masters), 1 Double, 2 Bunk Bed Sets; 15 Towel Sets provided
TOP LEVEL:
The Great Room has beautiful outdoor views with a large, sectional sofa, a flat-screen TV and access to wide sundecks on 3 sides of the home. There is plenty of deck furniture for lounging on both the top and mid level decks. The screened porch offers more opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with a small table that can seat 6. The kitchen on the top level is well-stocked and roomy for meal preparation (there is also second kitchen on the ground level). The dining area can seat 10 persons with 6 chairs and a bench for 4 persons: the kitchen island can seat 6. [Note: gas fireplace is not for guest use.]
MID LEVEL:
From the entry way, there is a Queen Jr. Master Suite with a semi-private bath (shower) which has a door to the hall. A separate Queen bedroom is at the back of the floor. The King Master Suite has a large master bath which features a soaking tub and a separate shower. The rooms have access to the mid level deck; a picnic table and a hammock are part of the covered deck.
GROUND LEVEL:
There are 3 more bedrooms on this floor: a Queen bedroom has access to a hall bath (shower) and the next bedroom is a Queen Master Suite; its private master bath has a shower/tub combo. The last bedroom has a Double Bed and 2 Bunk Bed Sets. The game area includes both a Shuffleboard table and a Foosball table. There is a large flat-screen TV for viewing a ball game or a favorite program. The second kitchen on this level has a full-size refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and sink. There is a small table for 4 in this kitchen. The laundry area is located right by the back door to the pool deck.
EXTRAS:
Enjoy a large private pool (16' x 32') and a hot tub plus there are an outdoor shower to use after visiting the beach or before using the pool or hot tub. There is an outdoor full bathroom with shower to use. A sand volleyball court is located in the backyard. Bring your grill tools to use the propane gas grill located on the pool deck.

Family Vacation
Our family enjoyed all the available options this house had to offer. The pool with outdoor speakers, hot tub, lots of chairs, and picnic table was used daily. The beach was close and enjoyed daily also. From the driveway, you pass two houses, then you turn right two blocks on a pedestrian boardwalk crossing two beach roads straight to the beach access. Our family enjoyed the foosball, ping pong and shuffleboard in the downtime. The hammock and two huge decks (some with new boards) with chairs and tables were nice. The beds were comfortable also. The showers and toilets were clean. The shower doors do have parts off track but worked. The house is used, so there are a few quirks like some wiggly ceiling fans (but some were new), a slow drain, a few areas needing more cleaning but overall clean, fun and enjoyable. I liked the beach decor and art. The neighborhood was nice, felt safe and quiet besides an occasional loud car or dog bark. We appreciated being able to bring our dog and she could hang out in the fenced pool area with us. Shopping and restaurants were nearby as well as museums and activities. One can even rent golf carts to drive on beach roads, scooters and bikes. We are thankful to have had a place for our family to come, relax, and be by the beach.

Great house/close to beach
This house had everything we needed to keep our group of 12 entertained for the whole week. Close walk to the beach, pool and hot tub were nice for hanging out at night or for those who didn’t want to go to the beach. Having 2 kitchens was great for extra storage and for ease of grabbing snacks and drinks while out back. Volleyball court right outside of fenced area was nice. Shower/bathhouse outside was a great addition. The upstairs living area was a great place for us all to hang out for meals or to play board games. Usually a family that is on the go for vacations and this trip we didn’t feel the need to leave with all the amenities and space this home offered. Would definitely recommend for a larger group.
