Forgot to bring something or simply don't have the room to pack it? These companies will rent and deliver nearly every item you may need during your beach vacation. Bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, surfboards, plus baby equipment (high-chairs, Pack 'N Play®), and grills are among the list of items each company offers. You may also arrange for Cabana Services to help set up and remove your rented gear on the beach each day.

1. Currituck Beach Club Surf Shack | Trolley Stop

Open between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends and located next to the Currituck County Southern Public Beach Access, be sure to reserve online for your beach chairs and umbrellas to be ready when you arrive at the beach! Corn hole sets, boogie and surf boards are also available for rent.

2. Duck Village Outfitters

A full array of rental equipment available for bicycling, surfing, or kayaking; also beach chairs and umbrellas, single or double jogger strollers and Wheeleez beach carts for toting your items to and from the beach.

3. Just for the Beach Rentals

Opposite the Currituck County Southern Public Beach Access in the Ocean Club Centre shopping area, Just for the Beach has a large selection of rental items to complete your OBX vacation: beach chairs, water sports equipment, baby gear, bicycles, grills and more. Choose from one of their great beach packages and receive free delivery.

4. Ocean Atlantic Rentals

With two locations serving the northern Outer Banks, Ocean Atlantic Rentals makes it easy to pick and choose your beach, bike and baby equipment. Also, if you are planning an event in a Special Occasion home, rental tents are available for your affair. Plan ahead to receive free delivery on your arrival day and pick-up at week’s end.

1. Beach Cabana Services

During the summer, Beach Cabana Services offers full cabana service with set-up and removal of your rented beach equipment at their Pine Island location in Corolla by the Hampton Inn. They will also deliver any beach, bike, and water sports equipment rentals you may need during your stay. Paramount Destinations' guests receive a discount.

2. Beach EZ Rentals

Weekly beach equipment packages include daily setup and breakdown of a 10’x10′ tent, blender, speaker, cooler with ice, cornhole game and 6 beach chairs. Service available from Corolla to South Nags Head. Setup daily at 9 AM!

3. BeachMasters

The ultimate cabana service, they will set up your beach outpost each day by supplying the tent, tunes, chairs, battery-powered blender, ice, cooler, and a cornhole game. All your family has to do is bring beach towels and sunscreen! At 5:00 PM, they return to break down your camp and have it ready for the next morning. Please note that BeachMasters does not provide set-up service at the Southern Currituck County Public Beach Access located at 475 Yaupon Lane, Corolla.

4. Corolla Beach Services

Serving the northern beaches in the Corolla area, they offer both beach set-up services which includes cabana tents, beach chairs, coolers with ice, and more; set-up packages are available. Luggage service is also available for arrival and/or departure from your vacation rental property.

5. Door to Shore (The Currituck Club)

For guests within The Currituck Club only: make arrangements for pick-up of your beach equipment in the morning from your home, have it set up on the beach for you, then have it packed up and brought back to your vacation rental whenever you decide to call it a day!

6. Mac Brothers Beach Setups

Their services offer daily beach setup and breakdown services from Corolla to Nags Head as well as equipment rentals that include Electric Bikes and Sand Wheelchairs. They can set up your personal beach gear OR you may rent directly from their selection of highest quality rental equipment. They’ll have your desired beach spot set up by 9 AM and pickups start after 5 PM.

1. Corolla Cart Rentals

Located in Corolla, they offer newer model 4- or 6-passenger carts and are open 7 days a week. The delivery fee is included with the cart rental rates. (Note: Monteray Shores and Ocean Sands neighborhoods do not allow these vehicles.) 

2. OBX Beach Toy Rentals

Rent a golf cart (4 or 6-persons), scoot coupe, scooter, or a bicycle to explore the northern Outer Banks in an entirely new way and add to your list of fun memories for years to come!

3. Ocean Atlantic Rentals

Low-Speed Vehicles (LSVs) are now available! Choose from 6-person or 4-person carts to drive your gear to the beach access. (Note: Monteray Shores and Ocean Sands neighborhoods do not allow these vehicles.) 

4. OBX Beach Buggies

OBX Beach Buggies offers 4- or 6-passenger golf carts and LSVs (Low-Speed Vehicles) which are street legal (on Route 12) and golf carts, these vehicles are allowed in The Currituck Club and in the Whalehead Beach subdivisions. They will deliver a full-charged vehicle to your rental home for a 7-night rental. Convenient and easy to use, it can be helpful for family members who may have difficulty walking to and from the beach access. Be sure to make advance reservations before the summer season.

5. Outer Banks Jeep Rentals

These vehicles are all 4-door, air-conditioned Jeep Wranglers equipped with lift kits that are appropriate for rugged beach terrain in the 4-Wheel-Drive area. Includes unlimited mileage. All vehicles must remain within a 100-mile radius of their office.
