We will be covering many topics related to vacationing in the area of the Outer Banks, North Carolina, in this blog but we’d especially like to highlight some of the wonderful vacation rental homes that we have in the areas of Southern Shores, Corolla and Duck. You can learn about each of these towns on the Outer Banks below.

If you like wide, clean beaches offering opportunities for endless walking or water sports, you’re sure to enjoy Southern Shores, located between Duck and Kitty Hawk. This town offers many family-friendly restaurants, comedy clubs, breweries and has an active nightlife.
One of the more popular oceanside communities here is Sea Crest Village, where every house is within a few hundred feet of the beach access. Homes like Silver Creek and CheckMate will offer fabulous views of the coastline just steps away.
Grocery stores, shopping and access to many water adventures like charter fishing, parasailing, and more are close by.
On the northern end of the Outer Banks is the village of Corolla. Here is where you’ll find the communities of Pine Island, The Currituck Club Resort, Ocean Sands, Crown Point, Buck Island, Monteray Shores Resort, Whalehead Beach, Corolla Light Resort, and Corolla Village.
You’ll appreciate the convenience of having several shopping areas nearby that include TimBuck II Shopping Village, Monteray Plaza, Corolla Light Town Center and Corolla Village.
Located just 10 miles south of Corolla, the Town of Duck is made up of Osprey, Bias Shores, Duck Landing, Four Seasons and The Sanderling Inn and Barrier Island Station resorts.
A short distance to the Duck Landing beach access and community clubhouse is Jewel of the Isle, where residents can enjoy an indoor pool, game room and fitness center.
You’ll enjoy spectacular views and space to spread out at Utopia, located next to the open space preserved by the Duck Research Pier.
