Key Events at the Lost Colony Wine and Culinary Festival
The festival’s Grand Tasting is the spotlight event, featuring both old- and new-world wines. Held in the SoundStage Theatre, the tasting will combine delicious local fare from some of the area’s best chefs with perfect pairings provided by participating wineries.
As you taste your way through the featured selections, you’ll also have the chance to bid on a number of silent auction goods right from your phone. The money raised from the auction goes directly to the Lost Colony Production, a live theater performance depicting a fictional telling of what happened to the first settlers of Roanoke Island.
Bid on items like wine lots, gift certificates to restaurants, hotel stays, art, and jewelry, then head to the beer garden for a sampling of craft brews, some of which are only available on the Outer Banks! Find a table overlooking the water and relax as you listen to music and enjoy the carefully curated selection of tasty treats. And don’t forget to stop by the artist’s market to search for the perfect commemorative souvenir.
